Lilac is a good indicator & I'd trust her to know the territory.:( You are
doing everthing possible to find Winnie. I'll pray too, that she shows up soon.
Hugs for Chester,Angel & Grandma. (((Hugs)))

Speaking on Angel, the little darling pulled one of the curtains in the bedroom down ... twice today! I can hardly climb up to put it back up. She has been banned from that room for now. :)
Thanks again everyone for the prayers and well wishes for Winnie.
Do you think she may be stuck up a tree and too scared to come down - perhaps frightened by the dawgs that sent her up there??? Then again, she'd meow.......
Oh please Winnie, enough is enough. Come back!!! :(
I peeked out the door one more time before bedtime and there she was. :D
You can bet I scooped her up and hugged her. Now the problem is what do I do now?
I thought I'd put her in the bathroom with Angel for the night but Angel is hissing and throwing a fit. She's forgotten her own mommy!
So, right now, Angel is in the bathroom and Winnie is locked in the kitchen. Chester and Grandma are in the middle room, front room and bed room. As much as I hate having a litter box in my bed room, I guess for the night, I'll need to put one in there with some food and water and keep Grandma and Chester in here with me and out of the kitchen.
Now the fun begins. Trying to see if I can get them to all get along together. I can't let Winnie back outside. She might not come back next time. She is spooked for sure. But all is ok for tonight.
Thanks you all dear friends for all the prayers for us. Please keep them coming that somehow this all works out for all of us!!!:love:
I came to my 'puter to see you online and replying to this thread. I was dreading what I was about to read but then the LES started. Oh I'm so happy............I've got tears rolling down my cheeks.:love: She probably just went on a field trip.....and without telling you where she was going....talk about a nawtee kitty!!!
I sure hope you can keep her inside from now on but understand if you can't. God will bring you the answer. Keep the faith.
{{{hugs}}}
Oh Winnie darling - many kisses planted on that cute grey head of yours.
Oh Moff - isn't it wonderful being a "parent"...........??
I think I would just tell them "like it is" - all of you get along or ALL of you can go live in the shed.
I know that when I talk to Rascal and firmly say o.k. - enough is enough - it must be the tone of my voice because he stops.
Annie looks at me like I couldn't possibly mean her - she is so perfect.
I had the same feeling as Slick. But I am SO HAPPY to read that she is back home!!!!! Welcome home Winnie!! Believe me I'm going to be following this thread to see how you deal with having them all get along. Right now I am just so happy for you and for Winnie.
Thank goodness! Yay for Winnie! Now you stay put missy!
OMG!!! HOW GREAT!!!!!
Now you older kitties just learn to get along with the new ones, k? Miss Winnie could get all lost again! ;):D
At least they can sniff and paw under closed doors....:)
Maybe Winnie had some odd smell on her from being wherever she was...and that is what Angel was upset about.
This is just the BEST news!:love::love:
When we got our latest kitty, Mau Mau, we kept her in a seperate room for one night, then let the cats take turns being in the living room, den, and kitchen. The next day, they all got used to the scent of the new cat being in the house. The next day, we put Mau Mau in a cat carrier and set her in the middle of the living room. The other cats did the usual hissing and growling. We put her back in her room and repeated this the next day. By the third day, the cats were playing pawsies under the door. We brought her out in the carrier that night for awhile and then let her out. No hisses or anything, they were all chirping at each other and now, they are all best buds. It just takes a little time. So glad Winnie is home!!!
I was hoping to hear some good news tonight and I'm glad that I kept reading this thread.:) Welcome home Winnie!!!:D Now hopefully everyone will get used to each other so Winnie can also become an indoor only cat too. Good luck!!!:D
Oh MOFF, I'm so happy to read that she's back. :D Now, if you can keep her indoors for about two weeks, she will surely consider it her home. :) Hope they'll all get along eventually.
This is the first thread I checked and what a relief! I'm so glad she's home, MOFF. Years ago my Boo Bear was missing for only one night, the coldest, snowiest night of the year no less, and I was crazy w/worry and fear so I can only imagine how you must have felt about Winnie. I hugged Boo for quite a while, then I felt like spanking him for scaring me like that. Give Winnie girl lots of hugs from Mary and the Fur Posse, ok? And take a few for yourself. (((HUGS))) :D
Thank God!!
I'm so glad Winnie is back where she belongs!! Winnie, you listen to Mommy now, and Angel - BEHAVE!!
Big *phew* here:)
Now I hope it works out.....
I'm doing the happy, happy, joy, joy bootie dance!
First thread I checked this morning! I'm so glad she's back. I'm sure that Angel will remember her momma soon.
We had a peaceful night all things considered. Well, I was so exhausted I passed out but did get up a couple of times. Winnie seems to be adjusting well to being in the kitchen. She does go to the outside door but I tell her No! that part of your life is over now.
I will always think it was everyone's prayers that led me to find her last night. I had checked outside just 10 minutes earlier and she wasn't there. Then I did a bathroom break and decided to take one more peek. You could have knocked me over with a feather when I saw her there. I grabbed her and never let go!
Something sure has frightened her though. When I took trash out this morning, there was a big clump of gray and white fur right by the steps. She is the only gray and white animal around here. Maybe she won't be so agressive with Chester and Grandma after her adventures.
I do have a few pics of Winnie. Just thought you'd like to see her for yourselves. I know I would. :D
She's trying to tell me about her adventures but I don't understand her accent yet.

Up close and cute.

First time I ever noticed her black eyeliner!!!

Finally, I'm safe at home and can sleep!!! (notice the tear in her upper eye)

I think she looks alert- I wonder what happened. But she came back to where she belongs :)
It is sooooo good to see Winnie home at last. This is one of those times
when you wish cats could talk. I'll bet she has quite the tale to tell.:D
I wonder what spooked her? a dog, or another not so friendly cat?
I missed this entire episode. My computer hard drive had to be replaced and my laptop was out of order for a few days in a row.
I am so glad your little lady reappeared and is now a house cat. Gosh, it was quite the episode!
(((((((((((((((Winnie)))))))))))))))))))
Now stay home!
:):):):):):):):):):)
Dear Winnie,
Okay. You have proven you point. You should be in the nice warm house with the others. You belong there.
I think you could have done it without so much drama young lady! Now that you are home...work on making friends with everyone.
With Relief and Happiness
Edwina
Winnie, you are right where you belong now - stay there! Now, you need a good rest, and then, have some fun and cuddle time.
Moff, I'm so happy she's back home - what a scare! Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures. :)
I am so glad that you had a somewhat calm night, Moff.
I would imagine that Winnie certainly could feel the love from you last night as you scooped her up.
I laughed thinking about all of us "aunts" standing around shaking our fingers at Winnie and each of us having sighs of relief, bits of anger because she didn't come home sooner - and lots of advice about what she needs to do now. But most of all we feel relief and love for a very beautiful cat.
Gosh her eyes are gorgeous!
I hope you have a good Sunday!
There's our girl looking as beautiful and sweet as ever and no worse for the adventure either. We are all wrecks but that's ok. ;)
Sandra, (tatsxxx11) suggested putting Winnie in one of the carriers and setting her in the room with all of us for a while each day. That way they can all get used to seeing each other. I think we will give that a try in a day or two when all is calmer here.
Ok, I admit, I'm the only one who is a wreck right now but am doing better now all are gathered together under one roof! :D
Again, thank God she's back safe and sound!!
Now, let's we all hope and pray they all will get along pretty soon :)
Big hugs of relief to you Moff, have a nice Sunday ;)
There could be no better news this Sunday afternoon!!! MOFF, I can only imagine how relieved you must feel right now. We may never know where Winnie was or what scared the daylights out of her, the important thing is she's home and not injured.
Winnie, we don't know where you were or what scary things you may have encountered these past few days. But you found your way back to where you're safe and loved. Get some rest, fill your tummy, and make friends with Chester and Grandma. Above all else, stay inside now!!!
Groucho is asking if Chester and Grandma would like to join in on the Catmobile trip to the World Series. After the week all of you had, Groucho thinks some rest and relaxation with their fellow kitties might be good for them.
I'm glad to hear that you had a nice calm night last night and that you were finally able to sleep well.:) Winnie sure looks as gorgeous as ever and she looks very glad to be home where she's loved and cared for. I hope that everything will work out. Good luck.:)
Moff,
I'll bet if you stuck your head outside tonight, you would hear a lot
of sighs of relief from PTers all over the place.:) Rest well tonight.:)
Wow! I missed all this drama, but am very happy to see the happy ending. :D
That was one way for Winnie to become an indoor cat. ;)
This morning she not only had him backed into the carrier, she climbed in with him! It was so funny the two of them stuffed in there together. For once, I didn't get pics. I was laughing too hard. :D My boy has sure met his match in that little one!!! :D
Winnie had her first "family" visit this morning. She was in a carrier. There weren't as many hisses and growls as I expected. Chester laid down in front of the carrier and they growled and hissed a while. Then Winnie got bored and went to sleep and Chester took a nap on the back of my recliner.
Grandma stayed in the bedroom and didn't encounter Winnie yet though.
 Heck Chester says Winnie is a piece of cake compared to the Angel he has gotten used too.. I would say Chester & Winnie will be fine.. I would also say Grandma will prob just keep her distance for now.. I think you all will be fine.. I guess I have done so many intros that they dont phase me anymore.. They all seem to go with the flow..
The last time I brought a newbie inside, other than Angel, was 7 years ago when Grandma moved in with us. I was expecting a world war. She came in with nary a hiss or growl. Of course the other three were all males and had seen her out the windows for years.
Angel managed to get herself shut inside the frige this after noon. I was getting stuff out to make a sandwich and somehow she snuck inside. I head a rattling coming from the door so opened it. There she was on the bottom shelf of the door. Luckily she was only in there about two minutes. :( I didn't know she was even in the kitchen. She's quick and sneaky that one is.
Meanwhile, Winnie seems content in the kitchen. She has been busy cleaning out dust fuzzies from under the shelves and appliances. She's even found some lost toys and has been playing with them. :D
It sounds like things are working out pretty well so far. Seeing Angel and Chester both crammed into the carrier together must have been a sight! I can't help but laugh just thinking about it. Also sounds like Winnie is adjusting to being an indoor kitty. Could it be that Angel hissed at her mommy for up and leaving her?
Owen and Willow have both gone in the fridge. Owen spent almost 5 mins in there one time when I didn't realize that's where he had gone. Willow gets in just about every time I open the fridge, so anytime she goes in I prop the door open so noone gets left in there. LOL.
Angel is so darn cute. She def has some unique markings.
Winnie reminds me of my friend's cat who is a long grey/white male, his name is Wolf.
I'm glad Winnie had been spayed so she didn't come back preggo, that would have been bad. My bet is that a dog or two spooked her. Wolf disappeared on us for a couple of days, a dog attacked his fursister Baby and killed her, and Wolf would not come home for a few days after that. He, as well as Winnie, were probably in hiding.
Please give your cat clan lots of love from us.
Amy
Dear Angel, Chester, Grandma and Winnie,
I've been thinking about the four of you - and your wonderful meowmie - all day today! I hope you all had a good day getting acquainted, with some yummies in your tummies, a few naps, some play time and and lots of encouragement from your meowmie. Here is a round of hugs, snuggles, scritchies and loving for you from me ((((HUGS))))),
Your admiring fan
Elyse
So far things are quiet here. Well, except for the usual havoc that Angel causes. Winnie has had two 'visits' in here with Chester and Angel. Grandma has been staying in the bedroom. I think she hopes if she ignores Winnie she will go away.
I'm trying to get brave enough to let Winnie just wonder in here out of the carrier and see what happens. I'm afraid it will be like letting a tornado loose in the front room though.
Lilac has been coming to eat every morning now that Winnie isn't outside to beat her up. She is even letting me pet her now. :D
