Oh Steve,
The Natives are Getting Restless!!;) :)
I'm single (widow) and not stupid. I'm a steady hard workin' woman with dogs, cats and a snake. BUT, I can not do cold all the time. Don't really care about toilet seats.. I know how to dig a hole in the woods when I have to go. BUT, I can not do cold all the time. Oh well dear.. you are a handsome man and maybe one of these lovely ladies will .. whatever :o You are a joy and delight to listen to and thank you for your caring.
A few pics for an update:

And finally I managed to catch Buddy and Docker "snugglin'" in the computer room doorway.

Oh, my gosh, look at the size of those bones - what lucky dogs!!! Wow, it looks like Buddy and Docker have become the best of friends - who woulda thought???
This might be a good time to give some cyber pets and hugs to Tasha and Buddy for being such good siblings and taking Docker under their tutelage and cuddle comfort.
I can't let my dogs see these pictures, or I would would have some *splaining* to do on why they don't get big bones like that.
And everybody is right. That last picture is so sweet. No wonder Docker is doing so well. He knows he has hit the jackpot in landing with Daddy Steve.
AWWWWW!!!!!!
How Cute are They????????
Precious,Precious Pups!!!!!!!

Look at that Docker Boy!!! Fitting Right into his new,Forever Home!!!!
Thanks everybody, the comments are most appreciated!!
Here is one more I took at the same time; just a little more "close-up" since everyone seems to have liked the last one. Yes, he seems to have found the express train to all of our liking!!

And, yes, Buddy is really THAT dirty (there are downsides to this whole doggy-door thing)......I'll be posting bath pics in the next couple of days!! (Don't know if Docker's been through that yet, but I'm sure that if Bud and Tash are any sort of siblings whatsoever, they will tell him how much it sucks!).
Well, over the last little while I have been fighting a losing battle in trying to learn to cook, however I am no less determined. Today I picked up a couple of really nice rainbow trout, and was going to pan fry them and make a big 'ole double-baked potato. While coating the fish, a friend of mine phoned so I talked to him for a little while. When I returned, there was only one fish! I found the other in the backyard with Docker very close by (on top of). According to Docker, while I wasn't looking, the fish made a break for it, went out the doggy-door and was just about through the fence when he realized what was going on, and daringly thwarted the trout's escape. I don't know if Docker thinks I am dumb or what, but I know there is no way that fish opened the doggy-door on his own!
Anyway, Docker got in his first real trouble, and I had one really good pan-fried trout!!
He is pretty sucky right now!
LOL Yummy trout. Can't blame the boy for trying.......
And I think a trout is strong enough to push open the doggy door....poor Docker getting blamed...... ;)
Now Steve!!!
Remember your Buddy Pics???
Docker was just Practicing to be as good as his Big Brother!!!!;)
He learned it from Somewhere!!!;) :) :D
Docker is living the good life now. Nice warm bed to sleep in, a new family, and fresh trout for dinner. That's quite a change from living in the woods. :D
That is an absolutely adorable picture. And how lucky Docker is that you found him. :) I am so happy for all of you. And just think, you never have to worry about roving bands of killer trout again.:D
