HOW'S ABOUT LIBBERWURSTIE???? Cody just clamps down cause he's a suspicious BRAT!!@! Sue..maybe I mentioned this..peanut butter?????? Hmmm. thinking soft and yummy. Does Killi like flavored yogurt?? Cod's got his own spoon and sometimes will lick a huge scoop right off with pill inside before he realizes it! Poor Sue and Killi, I feel so bad for both of you!! Try to help, yet not wanting to hurt.... :(
Ohhhhhh, it's soooooo frustrating!!!!!!!!!
In two days, he's only had two pills and didn't eat two whole meals. He is suspicious of all food and most people who try to give it to him. Polish sausage couldn't hide the smell of the pill! My future daughter-in-law fooled him into taking a pill yesterday and today he took one in salami, but peanut butter, cheese, braunschweiger are all a forbidden food to him..... This is such a fight!! Shiloh just stands by and wonders why he's passing up the good stuff! sheesh!
Would Killian drink sugar water?
Try mixing up a stiff batch of sugar disolved in water - see if he'll lap it up...
Then try disolving the pill in the water...
followed by enough sugar to hide any taste of the pill. Probably best if there's only a minimum of water used - and LOTs of sugar.
Tried jelly yet?

Hmmmmm, some good ideas..... Keep em coming. If I do two different foods a day to stuff it in, maybe it will work some of the time?? Hmmmmmm.... sardines?? something I can stick it in and he can't get it out.....

Salami worked again for his pill this morning, but he wouldn't eat his breakfast....eeeerrrrrrggggggg.

Prayers are being offered that our man Killian will start eating again and that you can find the perfect food to tempt him. I can imagine how frustrated you are.
Yaaaaayyyy!! The salami trick is still working!! AND this morning he ate all his food!!! Things are looking a little better again. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers!!
