I'm so glad to hear this wonderful update.:) I sure hope that Chipper just had a flu bug and that this won't happen again. It was so great to see his pictures and videos showing how perky he has become.:) I'm so glad that he'll be able to come home tomorrow and I hope that he continues to do well.:)
I definately think that Chipper found his heart and home with you guys!

Kimmy, those pictures of you and Chipper speak volumes. If only every shelter dog could find himself a Kimmy and Andy.

CHIPPER IS HOME!!
He was released at 10 this morning. When they brought him into the room, he jumped into my lap and peed all over my leg. :eek: :p Can you tell he's excited? Or perhaps he's marking me. ;)
He's on a few different meds. A few more doses of Panacur in case of parasites, some Baytril and Clavamox.
We made a few stops on the way home.. got him a new toy and visited the staff at Williamston vet office. He was once again his typical social butterfly self.
He's peeing a lot from being on the IV's so this message will be quick as both Chip and Kia are doing the gotta go potty dance.
I've taken pics and vids but can't get them on the computer till Andy gets home.
They've been playing and have had a few bland biscuit treats. We're off for a walk now and I'll keep in touch on how he's doing.
Oh Kimmy! He looks SO much better! I do hope he comes home today. He looks like a very happy dawg! :D

The walk went very well. Nothing like being dragged down the road by two dogs. :D
He finally pooped. It was soft but well formed. He greeted everyone we met and pounced on leaves that would blow by. They are now taking a nap, though I'm sure it'll be short lived.
