Many prayers for all of those that need them.
Prayers for Joe...my best friend and I have known him for a few years.
Born with a spine problem, been in a wheelchair all his life.
Wound up in hospital couple of weeks ago - hadn't been looking after himself, eating, anything....
Was eating again and had his fight back.
He's about 42. Just found out from my BF that he has bone cancer....they are talking amputating from the pelvic area down. :(
please PRAYERS!
I'm so sorry, Candace. My thoughts and prayers are going out for Joe and all those that need them.
Sending prayers of love and healing to Joe, Candance and all the beautiful PT folks
Much love,
Cathy
Oh my gosh, Candace I am so sorry for you and your friend Joe. Good thoughts coming your way (((hugs)))
Had the family meeting with Roger's oncologist yesterday.

Ok, we know: It's non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. It has not spread outside the abdomen, and we are grateful for that. It does affect the colon, mysterium? (abdomen area), and abdomen. It's intermediate grade, a Stage II, which means it is localized in the lower part of the body, but still affecting an organ outside of the surgical site...that is, the abdomen, I think Dr. described.
Either way, chemo will begin next Tuesday...a 6-hour visit, as a number of drugs are infused the first time. Roger has to get through Monday's port installation, and then, the journey begins.
Dr. says this bowel lymphoma is still the better one to get...It is 80%-90% curable.

We just received word that Roger's stress test from last Friday shows some 'issues', and anesthesiologist will not do Monday's surgery without a heart cath! That will be tomorrow morning.
Roger is one frustrated guy right now, sick of tests and procedures. Please pray hard for his spirit. The port will go in on Monday, as of now.
I lighted a few more candles.

Prayers for Roger. :love::love::love:
My brother in law's Aunt Kathy and Uncle Mike were in a horrific car accident this weekend, near Indianapolis. They were returning home from visiting a new baby. Uncle Mike is not expected to make it, and if he does, it will be in a very limited form. Please pray for Aunt Kathy, who has significant injuries, Uncle Mike and their 3 adult children as the future slowly and painfully unfolds.
:(
Prayers will be offered for all. Too many sad stories so prayers for healing and curing and a few miracles as well will be said.
You all will be in our prayers.
Johanna, you and your family are in my prayers, especially Uncle Mike.

Please pray for my half-sisters and brothers... they were much closer to our biological father than I was... I haven't even seen him in years. Still, I am saddened at the news I heard... and they must all be beyond grief.
He passed away on Thursday, and I just found out last night.
