Yesterday evening there was "Catch me if you can". As we were looking at something else, I recorded it! I hope it is a good film, my daughter said it was.
Four teenage girls went and saw King Kong, one being my Melissa, they all said it was so boring and did not even stay to see the end.
Watched Bridget Jones The Edge of Reason again last night, and am currently reading the book as well, absolutely loved it yet again, only two movies i can watch over and over again, think i will buy the DVD myself, of course i am besotted with Colin Firth and adore all the actors in this movie, just nice light hearted entertainment.
I just love the expressions on Colin Firths face at times, it is priceless, such a great actor, and Renee just suited the part so well, OK enough raving of my all time favourite movie. :)
I rented "The Legend of Zorro".. I wanted to see it in theatres when it came out but I never got the chance to.. I saw the first one and loved it, and soooo I got to watch it and I loved it.. it's such a good movie! A sequel, and it didn't suck this time.. it got even better. :) It kept me stay into the movie, and a lot of good parts in it.. I loved the little kid!
This is an awesome picture... I just loved how it looked.. powerful and so full of bravery.

I have just finished watching Garden State, what a lovely movie :).
I watched "Cousins" again. Its one of my favorites.
I finally say all of TROY....
I do not like Orlando Bloom....
It was all his fault that Val and Eric got killed.
All that madness over a woman? ;)
-----------------------------------------
Hollywood Film makers???
Make a movie with a story like TROY.
Film it all at once, like LOTR....Make it huge! Make it spectacular and make it
4-6 hours long...then release it an hour and a half at a time-one part every month, for a few months in a row..
Making a movie from a great story, then crimping it into three hours really sucks.....
IN HER SHOES
Watched that yesterday. It was very good. I was kind of surprised but I really enjoyed it and would give it 4 stars.
:)
I went to see the Pink Panther Saturday. I liked it, it was pretty funny :D
I saw Brokeback Mountain last night with some friends... There weren't many parts where I wasn't crying.
Went and saw annapolis Saturday night, it was good and me and my daughter agreed, the star was a hottie....
A hottie that transends 2 generations :D
Saw Brokeback Mountain last weekend. Loved it.
I saw Final Destination 3 last week. I liked it for the most part but I found the ending really... stupid (for lack of better words).
I saw the Pink Panther on saturday. I liked it,it was funny. :D
Watched John Travolta and Scarlett Johannsen in Bobbys love song, well i think i got the title right, something like that lol, was pretty ok,not my fav movie of all time , but still was good enough to keep me interested somewhat. :D
Saw Pink Panther today. It was WAY better than I expected. It was hillarious!
I watched Wallace and Grommit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. It was great! I wasn't sure I'd like a movie with "curse" and Rabbit" in the same phrase, but it really is a fun, sweet, safe for kids movie, and no clay bunnies were harmed in the making of it! (It's claymation)
Some of the scenes with all the happy little bunnies floating in the tank, waving at each other were just too cute! :)
I LIKED it!
I saw Underworld: Evolution last Friday. What a wieeerd movie. I guess if you're into that kind of stuff, it was good, but seriously, I'll never understand why people like warewolf and other fake creature movies. They're just ... odd o_O.

I went to see "When a Stranger Calls" today. I loved it. It didn't get high ratings but I thought it was -really- scary. :p
Sounds like my kinda movie Sarah:D I love just about any fictional and or horror movies...always have, ever since I was a kid!Quote:

Johnny Depp is a fantastic actor!
last night I saw Date Movie, I loved it!
I just got done watching "If Only" and bawled my eyes out. I can't wait until it comes on again, it was such a good movie.
Seeing as I'm in a funk and there is squat on tv today, I watched "The Wedding Crashers" on On Demand. It sucked!!! I'm glad I didn't pay $10 to see it at the movies, although I'd go just for the popcorn.
I saw:
Curse of the warerabbit
finding never land
AVP
doom
who knows whatelse we'll watch, as thats all we do :)
Last night we watched The Ring Two. It was pretty good.
I saw Date Movie on Friday. It was so dumb, but hilarious at some parts.
Seeing 8 Below tonight, probably.
Watched The Perfect Catch, loved it, love Drew and a typical predicatable, light hearted, mushy lovey romantic comedy, right up my alley, enjoyed it even with the baseball. :)
I watched Just Like Heaven today and I Loved it. It was so good.
I also watched Two Brothers which is a cute movie!
I watched 8 Below tonight, I thought it was good, for what it's meant to be. Not the greatest movie ever, by any means, but, beautifully filmed and very charming. I cried, of course, just because of the relationships between the dogs and between the guy and his dogs. And, I thought the actors did well. It was sweet.
recently watched Oh brother, Where Art Thou? -
a pleasant fun movie, very funny. George Clooney was a surprise, he does comedy well. really enjoyed the bluegrass music, I've been humming bits of it ever since!
watched one from satelite last night -
War of the Worlds -- the Tom Cruise version.
Nice special effects, but come on, Tom, you're just not the tough-guy dad type!
Eight Below!
We saw it today, along with a theatre full of small children and their parents. It was a very, very, very good movie, and very dog-centered. There were some sad parts, and some scary parts, but the dogs were all very good actors.
I recommend it highly for everyone!!!
cyber-sibes, you especially have to see it! :) And all husky-lovers, and dog-people ...
Hey, me, too. ;) I saw it yesterday. I've always wanted a husky, and, that brought the urge right back up to the surface.Quote:

I saw 8 Below tonight. HOLY SMOKES! I cried like a baby! The first thing I did when I got home was just sit with my pups and hug 'em.
I also saw Firewall the other day.. (most of it anyways. I missed the beginning and had to leave at the very ending). I really enjoyed it.
Saw Freedomland the other day. It was pretty good if you like weird movies.
I saw The Pink Panther and Eight Below. I loved both of them! The Pink Panther was funnier than expected. At first I thought it was going to be kinda corny but it really was funny. (love his French accent;)) Eight Below was AWSOME! I loved it and was crying throughout the movie. I recommend both of these movies!
Watched Wedding Crashers last night, have to agree with you Donna, It sucked, it was ok i suppose and had some funny bits and some romantic bits, but on the whole i rated it pretty low, certainly would not highly recommend it, and then began to watch the 40 year old virgin, it sucked even more IMO, turned it off, and i am no prude by any means, but hubby and i both agreed we could not be bothered watching it any further.
For me both rated highly on the boring list. :)

Kari there were parts of wedding crashers that were funny and quite enjoyable, but i guess it had such rave reviews i was really disappointed, it all depends on the mood you are in too when watching any movie i think, but as for the 40 yr old virgin i think the review i just read summed it up exactly,it said it was simply crass, that it could have been handled by a french director with humour and sensitivity,,take it to hollywood though and any chance of sensitivity is monstered in a search for cheap laughs, now those comments i agree with.
Then it said only the truely desperate will enjoy this movie, and that the actor was awful and they can imagine him being a virgin at 80 lol, not sure i would go that far .
Cannot wait until next saturday , my fav movie ' Japanese story 'is on the telly, so won't be hiring any vids next weekend, and i am going to tape it too, so i can watch it over and over again, I Love this story even though the reviews only gave it three stars, it combines, love, laughter, and sadness all in one, and i think the japanese male actor is hot too. :D .
