If you could pray for my chihuahua Bella please do. She has been crying everythime I pick her up. Her hips have been hurting her please pray that she'll be ok whatever it is. I'm going to try and make a vet appt. tomorrow! She is so sweet, she is my best friend and my fur baby! I love her some much. Thanks so much guys! I'm praying for all of you hoping your prayers will come true and hoping you'll pray for me in return.
God bless.
Update because I haven't given one lately. My teacher's husband is doing MUCH better. He goes to the outpatient burn clinic for dressing changes. His hands are healing slowly. He did have surgery once to remove some excess scar tissue. Unlike healthy skin, scar tissue is hard and tight, so they have to take it off to help the new skin continue to heal properly. Next step is for the doctors to determine whether he will need skin grafts to his hands. I'll keep you posted.
Thank you,
Elyse
I don't want to post this generally, 'cause it really, in the grand scheme of things, isn't a big deal and maybe it's a little selfish. I'd like prayers for my upcoming procedures. My family has a history of TERRIBLE teeth. I just got back from the dentist and the last molar on my bottom jaw (which already had a substantial crown) has a severe abcess. There is also no bone left in that section of my jaw and there have been some other teeth removed from my lower. I am on a medication for psoriatic arthritis (an autoimmune disease) which makes me not a good candidate for dental implants. I am seeing a specialist trained at the Mayo Clinic to consult on how to save, and possibly rebuild, my lower jaw and teeth. That last molar (I do have other teeth, the whole front LOOKS normal) was important structurally so this is a blow. My upper jaw is fine - I'll have to be thankful for that! Maybe it will help me lose weight!
Thanks for any thoughts...Maggie:love:

My friend, Lorri, has undergone eye surgery tonight to repair detached retinas.
I would be grateful if you would include her in your prayers as she recovers.
Her livelihood as an artist depends on her ability to see.
Thank you.

PT Prayers for Diana's dad, and for Diana and her family...for peace.
And prayers for De - what a sudden and devastating loss.
People often talk about which is worse, to lose a loved one quickly or slowly. My answer to that is that there is no good way to lose someone you love.

Can anyone spare a few extra prayers?
I just learned today that a kid (well, I guess we aren't truly "kids" anymore) that I graduated High School with almost two weeks ago was diagnosed with Leukemia earlier this week. I was more of a casual acquaintance and did not know him all that well, but one of my friends is his best friend. This "kid" is a son, a brother, a husband, and a father. This past year he has really stepped up and changed into a great person.
Its such a surreal feeling. At this age we are supposed to feel invincible...
