4 Dog Mother

Yes, Amy Taggert got his bath last night. So no letting him row in any dirt in your yard, ya hear!!!!! (I didn't get him brushed very well though so that's why the brush is laying with his stuff - oh, and by the way there are two bandanas laying there two. Pick one and tie it around his neck for me will ya?)

With any luck you should see Staci, Keegan and I some where around 9:00 a.m.

Okay all you Pet Talkers, start your praying. Cincy is entered in Mostly Lab contest, Taggert in mostly Terrier and Kia in Mostly Snow Dog. I don't think Phred entered his in any - at least not that I know of. Who knows maybe one of our 3 will get Best of Show. You never know!!!

Here's hoping there'll be lots of pictures from this event. Be sure to include the Moms and Dads in a few pictures as well. Sometimes they seem to get left out. Nothing more special than a family photo.

and ONE Totally *PI$$ED* KAT!

"HOW CAN dat BE" you mite ask?????
I'm <wondering> the same thing - HOW can this be??? :confused:

Miz Leslie (one of Pat & Joan's grown daughters) who owns
Zig, a Labby Boy; and is Dawg-Sittin for Cali,
P&J's lil Border Collie mix pup -
called me on Friday night an said -
"HELP, Phred - I have to go on a Work Trip Tuesday and Wednesday -
can you handle Zig and Cali while I'm gone??"

"SURE" sez I. :eek:

Cinder & Smoke have "met" Zig several times at Pat's Howze -
After some initial "Grrrrin" everyone has <mellowed out>
and they all seem friendly to one another.
I told Leslie we'd all meet tonight up at Pat's (semi-neutral territory).

"WE" got there first.
I even brought BC Kat "up" from his hidey-hole in the basement to
calm his fears - he acted :cool: with Cinder, SmokeMutt and da Bowz.

<ENTER> Zig and Cali with Leslie ...
<EXIT> one BC Kat!
Cinder acted "un-happie" but did finally <mellow> when Zig let it
be known the he just wanted to PLAY - and he didn't care with WHO!

Smokey crawled on Leslie's Lap and just <cuddled>!
Cali just lay down and looked *puzzled* about the MOB in HER Howze!
Bowser did his best to not get <trampled>.

After the *ruff & tumble* died down...
BC Kat re-appeared and staked out a spot under the kitchen table...
Cinder got too "pushy" with BC and collected a Right-Paw onna nose
from BC - who then felt comfortable enough to <amble around>
the kitchen at will! ;)

Leslie departed...
Tyme to *try* <Loadin da Bus>!

Cinder & Smoke shared a Y-Thingy with no leash;
Bowser & Cali shared a Y-Thingy WITH a leash;
Zig went solo on a leash...

Poddy Call in the back yard - dunno if ANYbuddie <did> anything -
but no Furr Flew!

<Open> the rear Bus door...
Cinder & Smoke leap in;
Cali gets a boost up with Bowser struggling to get in as
(OMG!) ZIG <LEAPS> over Cali and lands between Cinder & Smoke -
as Bowz manages to leap up and in!

MY, this is **CHUMMIE**!!
Not a "Grrrr" or "Growwwwwl" as we drove up the road to da Ranch!
(Possibly because no one in the back seat could <BREATHE> ) - but
we made it without incident!! :D

The HERD made it through the basement an up the stairs with
no major injuries or ruffled fur.

Zig made the mistake of <hikin> a leg to mark a box of grocery bags -
<FOILED> by a quick *BUTT SMACK* and the loudest "NO! BAD Dog!!"
he's prolly EVER heard.

<ENTER> Boots, da KAT!!
NOT a Happie Kampur!!
Zig thought it would "break the ice" to :eek: Chase da KAT!
So I guess Zig will spend his Furst Nite on a LEASH,
tethered to my wrist or a BigBed foot!

Bout Tyme to <find da KAT> and force him to submit to some Lap Tyme
with Zig in close attendance to drive home the point that
da KAT <LIVES HERE> and is NOT a chase toy!

As we speak, Zig, Cinder and Smokey are <circulating> around
the Puter Room <sniffin> and <waggin>.

HOPEfully everyone will <settle in> - SO Far the only
"Odd Guy" is da KAT.
And even HE doesn't seem TOOOOO Stressed -
he's made several "patrols" up and down the hall -
<checkin> the Herd in the Puter Room.

We'll try for some *snappies* in the fresh SNOW tomorrow.

A few *Purrayers* for a Quiet Nite wouldn't hurt! :p

You are so amazing. I can't get the 3 that live here to get along that good. (not to mention the 3 cats) Can you come stay for a week ? :D Have a great couple of days looking forward to pictures.

OMG! Better put a NO VACANCY sign up at the Ranch. We sure hope that ebberbuddie is on their best behavior and no one decides to take the new members on a hunting expedition. You better check in frequently, Phred, so we don't worry that you got run over by *the thundering herd*.

Anybody want to bet that Dad can get all five in one picture? Double the bet for adding the cat.

Oh Phred you are just amazing! I find it hard handling the three I have sometimes and look at you. You go from a 1 cat & 2 dog dad to a 1 cat & 5 dog dad:eek:

Aww phred...what a sweetheart! I just started reading the posts about bowser and cannot believe the steps you are taking in giving Bowser a place to stay!!Bowser is such a cutie (even Daisy the hound thinks he a purrr-fect babe)--I hope he is much happier now ;) You have to have that touch with animals...I couldn't imagine getting three...four...five doggies together. I have a hard time just getting one to sit.

Phred, didn't you love WV? Hillbillies huh? I'm in neighboring Kentucky, and believe me--you haven't seen the rednecks til' you come over to good ol' KY (I saw the pics of the yard Bowser came from in WV, and I was like...hey that looks like KY livin to the max LOL LOL) Y'all have to come down here to the bluegrass and have some grits and that famous chicken we got!!

Special thanks to Boots for going above and beyond the expectations any Kat should have to contribute. Poor Dad, didn't know we were going to propel him into the role of Cecil B. dePhred when he should have been the one in the bed (sick bed, that is). The pictures are delightful but knowing the *rest of the story* was a hoot. We do feel a bit :o for having generated the need for the imprompto "fixing of" da kobby-webz an dustie/furr-bunniez. Shoot a few more critters in the pictures wouldn't have made a bit of difference.
