Thought I'd post some pictures of Tyler having a bath a week ago! Nothing cuter than a little nekkid baby in the tub. She was 2.5 weeks here.

Now we're off to have another bath. She has alot of dried milk in her hair LOL.
Tyler is very cute! Looks like she enjoys the bath! It's a crap shoot with Clara, sometimes she loves it, sometimes not so much. ;) Luckily, she only has to have one every two or three days, haha.

20 weeks 2 days sono pics. Baby is doing great and is weighing in at 1 pound. So far I have gained 7 pounds, 4 of those this last 4 weeks.

Yay, Carmen! Laura's beautiful, I love all her hair! Clara has that same "daddy loves me" bib! ;) We've missed you! Clara's going to be 11 weeks old this Friday, it's amazing!
When you say "3 months", which way do you use? Do you go with the date she was born? Like Clara was born on the August 21st...some say that makes her three months old on November 21st. Others say the average month is four weeks, and when she's 12 weeks old, she's 3 months. I've heard both ways! :)

We had our first appointment a couple hours ago and it went perfectly! We had a quick ultrasound just to sneak a peek! He/she was really active, he/she was kicking and waiving to us. :) Justin's parents already knew, but we called and told my parents and our sisters tonight. I'm 12 weeks- due May 15th!
Congratulations, Kari! A May baby on the way, nice timing, so you needn't spend the hot summer months hugely pregnant!

Congratulations, Kari, I've been hoping for this news from you! David's birthday is May 14th, so that's cool that you're due on the 15th! My mom's birthday is the 20th, May's a good month!
Speaking of moms, my mother will be here Saturday morning! I'm so excited! Tickets were cheap, so she is coming for the weekend! It was last minute, but I'm so glad she decided to do it.

It's funny, I really wanted another boy with my last pregnancy (I miscarried), I could see myself with a houseful of boys. All of the sudden though I now do want a girl. I think part of it is because my SIL is pregnant, due in March, with a girl, and I think it'd be really fun to have 2 girl cousins so close in age. Plus everyone in our family is hoping for a girl. I thought it would be fun to think about what we will be getting our babies for Christmas. I'm not going to get too much- Lyra doesn't understand and she gets stuff all the time anyway. But I thought some books and maybe a push-toy (I like this one).
What ideas do you have for your little one?
Clara and I will be heading to South Carolina from the 5th to the 15th of December, that's our Christmas gift! Anything else is a perk, but I'm sure she'll get stuff from her grandparents. I'm not sure what we'll get her, but maybe one of those exersaucer things. :)
Lyra is such a cutie - I can't believe she's 9 months old already! :eek:
Last year for Ty we opened up a savings account for him and put some money in it. He got a lot of toys and clothes from other people, and he really didn't know what was going on. He is 2 this year (2 today actually! :eek: ) and I am really excited for Christmas this year. He loved opening birthday presents :D

I already got my baby Laura a Christmas gift. It's more of a keepsake. She's too young to understand toys and whatnot so I got her a 18 carat gold Italian charm. I will try to take a picture of it today and post it. It's an L with a braided circle around it.
It's just the wetness making it look curly, but Kyle is convinced she will have curly hair like mine.. we'll see!Quote:

If you swaddled your baby for naps and/or bedtime, when did you stop swaddling? Clara definitely goes to sleep better when she's swaddled, even if she sometimes struggles a little bit initially. I'm just curious about other's experiences with swaddling.
Mine kind of let me know about swaddling when they started wiggling themselves out of the swaddles. It wasn't anything we had to wean them off of or anything. Just when they were consistently fighting it, we stopped.

Clara's 13 weeks old today! I love this carrier, it's so versatile! I posted this video in Clara's thread, too. I just think she looks soooo cute, I had to post it here, too! :)
