Thanks for digging that picture out Slick. :) It was the very first picture we took of Tubby and me in the same picture. Except for the fact that it looks like I'm choking him to death, it's a good picture. ;)Quote:

And that picture - and so many more - are due entirely to Pet Talk. It wasn't until I got on PT that I realized I had no - nil- zero - zip - pictures of me and Tubby together. And if it wasn't for PT I would only have a fraction of the pictures of him that I have now. Now I have hundreds of pictures of him and I'm even going to make a little slide show of my "Tubby" picture file.
It's really hard being in the motorhome with Peanut and not Tubby. Peanut is taking it all so well and Tubby would have even been better about it all, and I know he would have loved it so. I know he is here in spirit, but I just really wish he was here in purrson instead. :(

For the first time, ever, I think I am a complete loss for words.
It is a little hard to type too............the tears make things kinda blurry on the monitor.
But, OH! I think I can hear the flutter of wings.........and I feel a little bit of a breeze..............can you just imagine all of our Rainbow Bridge babies with their wings..........doing God's bidding?

Tubby, are you there? I miss you so much big boy. Ever since we got home Sunday, the hole you left is more obvious than ever. You had such a presence in the house since you always had to be in the middle of everything and always followed me everywhere. You were always so happy to see us when we got back from a trip that you were a total Velcro kitty, more so than usual anyway. I couldn’t do anything without your help, from unpacking the clothes – you always had to sniff them all over to check out where we were - to putting the food away – you had to sit and beg for all the treats you had missed while we were gone - and finally to relaxing on the couch – where you would lay on top of me, give me head bumpies and tell me how much you missed me.
These days I have to sleep with a pillow at my feet to take the place of you in bed, I can’t sleep without it. The house seems so empty and quiet without you. Peanut is doing her best to fill the hole you left, and has sure learned how to voice her opinion since you’re gone. She even laid on me on the couch last night. Made me feel a bit better, but she doesn’t like to snuggle like you did, and I’m finding out I need that nightly snuggle. You always listened as I spilled out all my troubles of the day, and answered with your strong steady purr, letting me know that everything would be alright.
I know you are in a better place now, but I sure do miss you. I always said I didn’t know what I’d do without you and I’m finding out that’s true. If I could have just one more snuggle, just one more head bumpie, just one more day……
Well, I gotta go now, Tubby. Sorry to take you away from your frolicking. I just wanted to let you know once more how much I love you and miss you. Chin skritchies and smoochies to you big boy….I sure do miss you……

I simply can't open and read these at work any more. I get totally useless and feel totally helpless and need to excuse myself and retreat either into the ladies room or take a walk outside :( Oh Debbie, I so understand :( unfortunately.

Debbie, missing Tigris one night can only give me a faint idea of what you are going through but I already heard him scratching at my door (100% real- but of course he was not here) and always thought I see him just outside my view:(
