Name That Breed!

whoa rough one! is it Rafeiro do Alentejo? that's the only really rare Portugese one I know.

..I'm getting tired of this breed lol. Just got to google.com, type in "portuguese rare breed farm dog" and it will be somewhere on that page ;) lol

You say it is a Portuguese herding type farm dog. The only one I have heard of has longish hair and the breed goes back many years. To live in that country, it has to have long hair to be warm while outside, as it is bitterly cold.

So, I would really like to know if you are talking about the Serra type dog or not? It is not a pure bred so has other names as well, but the Serra is all I know.
