Killian/Liver Disease ?

Hey Cinders and Smoke! Thanks for askin Santa to give me and the Shi-one some of your presents. That makes me feel real good. The furkids here are some of the bestest friends a dog can have! I think Santa's got somethin hidden at our house for me and the Shi. I can smell it on the top of the ar-ma-wa dresser in the bedroom high up in the air. I just sniff and I smell bones!!! I think there are some stuffy squeaky things there too. Shiloh smells it cause she goes in there and stares at the top of that dresser. :) Have a great hollyday with lots of goodies and some slurps from the humans!!

Not eatin' again. Got the pukies and the runs. Hope I'm not goin back to another episode. :( Their gettin too close together.

Why don't all you furpups come on over for Crismiss and we'll raid Santa's toy bag when he comes donna chimney-hole? Won't he be surprised to see allus dogs greetin him? Ha! We could share those bones sittin in the bedroom upstairs, too. I axed Mom to make cookies but leave out that toxic chocolate stuff though.

Gotta tell ya somethin funny. Last night I stole Mom's spot on the bed and she slept on the floor!! I gave her those "Oh, I don't feel good eyes and I'm feelin better onna big bed in YOUR spot, Mom. Shiloh won't move for me, so what can I do?..." Well, I moved out of her way later cause I had to go patrol the house. Moms..... gotta love em!

Oh, Killian, don't be doing that, the not eating part... the part about taking her spot on the Big Bed is okay dokey but it is more better if she is up there next to you where you can stick you poker feet into her ribs.

Killi...I am SO sorry to hear about this episode :( You are such a good boy, and so brave, you HAVE to get better because we all love you SO much. You are exactally what my future dream dog is like, both in looks and in good personality. You are a special dog and you are very loved by alot of people. I hate to think of you not eating and getting sick, I sure do hope that this one passes quick and you get all back to normal again.

Sue, it's because of his teeth, right? I am sure you have already tried this, but brushing his teeth twice a day with floride doggie toothpaste probablly wouldn't help, right? I just don't know what else to say :( Please, Killi man, get better! No more runs or pukies, and skipping meals!

Killi's eating on and off now. If he eats, it's only half as much as he used to. He still has his playful moments, though. He doesn't lay around ALL day, moping.

Leslie, it's because of his liver disease which sends bacteria into his bloodstream. In his case, it seems to show up in his mouth. His mouth is ok at this time, he's just not eating much. It's a vicious circle.

Oh well, we'll take one day at a time. (sigh)
