Hey PT,
I start vet school tomorrow! I am having such mixed feelings about it. I think I would describe my current state as one of an emotional basketcase. I don't think it's all that abnormal...but milestones are always harder when you are missing someone (as you may remember my Dad passed away in December). I wouldn't hesitate to say that he was my biggest supporter in the vet school journey. I want to celebrate this with him, but when I call my Mom and we talk about it...we just sort of end up recognizing our helplessness. :(
Anyway, I miss him...some days more painfully than others....and tonight and tomorrow will be one of those hard times I just have to make it through. Please pray for my strength...I don't want my grief to impair my ability to enjoy this exciting time.
