This breed is often used on ranches to herd livestock. They are also great hunting dogs.
A pic
blue lacy
YUP :)
ok ok :D heres mine :D
Kerry blue terrier?
I think it's a Russian black Terrier-the tail is awfully long and curly for a Kerry-or maybe it is and they haven't docked the tail! Personally I don't care for tail docking or ear cropping. Anyone may have my turn if i win-I said I just like to guess and see unusual doggies
yep airedalekisses is rite! :D
heres another pic (docked tail)

I think that looks like what we call the Carolina Dog. It was native to the Carolina's and Georgia and owned by indiginious people here. The breed is very old.
Nope. it's not the carolina dog :) Carolina dogs have ears that stand up straight.
Welcome to pet talk by the way!
Here's another pic
mountain view cur?
Looks like """Old Yella""" to me.............now that is showing age!
could it be a Billy? that's a really rare breed!!
Nope :) This dog is a very good tracker
Chinook??
i think it is a chinook too.
No :) This dog is a farm dog, not a sled dog
Looks like a Tiroler Bracke to me.
No...This dog is very rare. It is a farm dog, it tracks, and is quite loyal but very stubborn.
EDIT**Nevermind, I have a guess.
Is it a Hamilton Stovare?
Nope....This dog is mainly called two different things....one of the names, has the word farm in it, because it is a farm dog.....
I have no clue then. Maybe you should give us the answer and try a new breed?
I'll give a few more hints...the other name starts with an X. The name with the word farm in it starts with an M. This dog is very rare, it's used for tracking and herding, guarding, and livestock purposes. It is a mastiff-type breed. It is medium size, has short hair. TONS of energy. It originated in Potugal. The name of the city it originated in is in it's name. It is not recognised by anything. It is very intelligent and well-mannered.
Is that enough info? I can't find any more pics of the breed...It's very rare.
