Aw, it must be a Calico thing. Angel, what a beautiful little Calico princess you are. This was my RB Puddy's favorite toy; she even slept on it. Of course, she became a little too big for it, if you can call 5 lbs. big. ;) Look:

Angel, you little stinker! Look at you showing Chester your tortietude! I am laughing right out loud!
Big purr-ayers for Winnie, Chester, Grandma, Angel -- and Lilac, your outdoor kitty, too. MoFF, you're the best!
**taps fingers anxiously waiting for Friday pics**
I absolutely LOVE seeing pictures of this adorable little girl. :D
OH yeah, the Turbo Scratcher is a big hit at the shelter. We can usually sell one with every cat that gets adopted. Paizly also has one, but she doesn't scratch on the middle part. She is more of a vertical scratcher, so she loves her scratching post. :)
Angel has such an expressive face. It's almost like you can read her little mind in those pictures.
There's that little sweetie. How do you like indoor life little one?
It's fun isn't it.:)
How's momma Winnie doing today? Did she have disolving stitches
or regular ones? Sorry I'm just nosey.:)
Miss Angel has Tortitude plus! She cries if I go into another room. When I put her in the bathroom for the night, she cries most of the night. She thinks she's such a big girl she should be allowed free access to the entire house. Not yet, munchkin!!! :D
Winnie is doing fine. She just chased Lilac out of the yard when she tried to come and eat. :( Winnie does have the desolving stitches. The bottom ones looked a bit red and like they had been seeping a bit this morning. They looked better tonight though. I wish she would stop running all over the place until she is all healed up. :(
There's our little PT Angel!! Have a great weekend little cutie!
I can tell that she's growing, too. Her legs are getting longer already.
Yes, Angel thinks she is a big girl now. She got to eat in the kitchen with the big kids this morning instead of in the bathroom! I just made sure her plate was far away from the other two. ;)
It was so funny later when she went to sample some of the dry food I keep out for them. Chester came and sniffed her and she hissed at HIM! :D He hasn't hissed at her since but has been seen chasing her through the house when he thinks I'm not looking. :D
Grandma is getting along better too. She bonked Angel gently on the head last night when Angel tried to crawl into the chair where Grandma was trying to nap. Angel now shows Grandma proper respect. :D
All in all, we are moving in the right direction. Thanks again for all the prayers and well wishes.
Your post will put a smile on my face for the rest of the day!:D:love:
As you can see, Angel really has trouble making herself at home here: :D

I thought Moff mentioned the daddy once. Found it in Post 345. I'm not
too surprised that he is a Orangie boy.:)
"I have the feeling I was set up for this from the very start. Angel was even conceived on my back porch!!! In spite of my efforts to chase winnie and her orangie boyfriend off, they kept coming back to my porch. "
Awww, how sweet! Lovely kitty dreams little Angel!

I really wish that Angel would learn how to relax.LOL :D
Awww, Makes me happy to see how she is adjusting to the bigger guys
and them to her.:)
Well, it is her house. She's just letting you live there, as all Calico queens do, magnanimous as they are. :)
She is claiming the sofa for the kingdom of Calicocat! What a cutie! How is Winnie doing? I hope she is staying safe.
That Angel is something else!!! She is so d*mn cute, I could steal her. Please give her and Winnie lots of loving from me and my cat crew!
Amy
Thank you Liz, for that info about Angel's daddy;)
Isn't she adorable sleeping. Makes that nosie even more kissable :)
Oh, MoFF, could you please give Angel, Chester and Grandma some hugs and kisses for me. Winnie, too when you are with her again. I hope they will all be able to be a kitteh-family very soon.
How adorable she is! Such a little sweetheart; your house must be full of kitty antics these days.:D
Give her kitty kisses from me and the boys............and to Mama Winnie, too!:love:
I'm worried about Winnie. She has a big lump from her surgery. It was like that when she came home so I expected it to go down. It hasn't. It hasn't gotten any bigger either. Here are pics. Sorry the first one is so blurry. She was squirming a lot. She seems to feel great.
Winnie's tummy bulge:

Front view looks pretty good.

And of course, Miss sweet stuff herself:

Could be a hernia...they are not uncommon in newly spayed kitties. Maybe give the vet a quick call and see about taking her in. Yes, it means a tad more surgery, but not nearly as invasive.
Hope she heals quickly.
MANY girls get an irritation from the stiches on the inner layer. That is what this looks like. Since It does not look red, open or seeping, I would not worry, just monitor.
Miss Sweet Stuff looks as pretty as ever.:)
The first picture doesn't look normal to me, but I'm no expert.:D Her tummy
looks much more normal in the second picture. It's a great idea to email some pictures to the Vet if you can.
Hi, Miss "Sweet Stuff" Winnie! *kiss* The lump looks a little bigger in the first picture. i hope it's nothing. I hope Winnie gets to move inside with Angel, Chester, and Grandma very soon! *kiss* *kiss* *kiss* *kiss* *kiss* *kiss* *kiss*

Winnie actually got inside twice today. She ran in while I was taking trash outside. Lucky for me all the other cats were shut in the front room. I don't open an outside door unless Angel is locked up somewhere. She wants to run out any door that opens, inside door or outside.
Here are a couple more pics of Winnie's bump. It looks worse when she stands on her hind feet. I'll be calling the vet in the morning I think.

Like so many of my PT friends, I'm in love with both Winnie and Angel, Chester and Grandma too. It seems the best you can do for Winnie is contact your vet about her tummy. It may be nothing and I pray that it is but your vet is best able to determine that. You've done so much for Winnie right from the start. For Winnie and your own peace of mind, see what your vet has to say. Please know my prayers are with Winnie right now. Would you give her some comforting lovies from me?
It sounds like all is going to be just fine with Grandma, Chester, and Angel. I have to agree that Chester and Grandma are teaching Angel exactly who's who in the house. Could I ask you to give each of them lots of scritchies and lovies from me?
Please let us know what your vet says about Winnie?
I just called the vet's office. They said they wouldn't be able to tell anything from pics. They advised to wait until the end of the week and see how Winnie is doing. She may be having trouble absorbing the stitches. They said that happens fairly often. To me it did look a tiny bit smaller this morning but maybe that's just wishful thinking. Anyway, unless it gets worse, we will wait a few more days. The stitches themselves looked really good this morning.
If it does get worse, they said they will be glad to see her. So, we wait. In the meantime, Winnie is enjoying chasing bugs. :D
Thanks everyone for the prayers and well wishes for her and us.
Angel loves her big brother, Chester. He's starting to come around too! :D

Chester, I know you can't resist this face, can you? C'mon - you know you think I'm cute!!
Yep, he's melting! See:

Awww you know you love her really Chester... ;)
Tip: Hey Chester- if you are nice to Angel meowmie might give you some extra treats ;)
Oh, I think Chester certainly is mellowing.:D Great pictures.:)
I'm glad you had a chance to ask questions about Winnie. I hope she
cooperates and takes it easy for a few more days.
Awww, Chester and Angel! A big brother is very wonderful to have. Prayers for Winnie Cat's tummy.
I'm betting that Angel and Chester are cuddling by Wednesday. :D
Hi Chester, I'm so happy to see you warming up to your little baby sister. She's really not so bad. Just try to remember that she's still a baby and needs to learn all about being a kitty. And you can be her purrfect big brother by teaching her all the tricks and secrets she needs to know. Things like how to get extra treats, how to wrap your purrents securely around her little paw, how to convince everyone she's really innocent when she has been nawtee, where the best hidey spots are and how to find them, where Meowmie hides your treats and all the other things only a big brother like you knows about. I guarantee she will be your loving and loyal friend and little sister for a very long time. This is a very important job, Chester, and all of your PT fans know you're up to the job! Sending you lots of scritchies and lovies
