Johanna, I'm sorry to hear that Allie is still not eating or drinking on her own.:( Hopefully she'll start feeling better enough to begin to do this on her own. I feel your pain and frustration because I've been there before with my RB Pepper.:( You've done more for than most people would've done and I support your decision. I'm so sorry that I'm only seeing this thread now, Jo. :( I'm barely on the boards these days.
Big, BIG hugs going out to you. Reading through your thread so reminded me of everything I was going through with Nakita. The force feedings, sub fluids etc.And each day watching for any little hint that she was turing a corner and maybe, just maybe, she would finally eat on her own. It's such an emotionally draining struggle.
Allie, I know your hurting little one, but if you can just try a little to eat and get past this block it will make a world of difference. Just one small step is all that is needed.

I am so sorry. After his biopsy Tigris did drink but he didn't eat in the last week of his life. I still remember Vio to come and say goodbye to him and he was under the bed and couldn't be enticed to come out for his favorite treats.:(
