I couldn't sleep very well either I had Corinna on my mind all night. My husband was working out of town when I saw the thread where she had passed. When he called me all's I could do was cry and tell him a member on here was gone. You are so right slick a precious life can be gone in an instant.Quote:

Clarissa (Corinna's daughter) was wondering about if people could send stories or such about their experiences with Corinna that she could put in a booklet for Charity Jean so that she could get to know her Grandma when she is older.
We just got the report from the coroner that states cause of death a severe heart disease. She had 3 plugged arteries and had evidence of a previous heart attack (unknown to us) and had a heart attack within 2-3 hours before time of death (which was estimated at 3-5am.)

Thank you, Karen, for the update, and for staying in touch with Tim and Clarissa. Last night I think I was mostly in shock. Today it really hit me and I have cried several times (each time harder than the last) for the loss of such a special person. Corinna was a happy, thoughtful, good natured person, who will be sorely missed.
Tim, you and your whole family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you, Karen for the update. Can we send flowers? That would really mean a lot to me if I could send flowers too.

Today has been such a difficult one for all of us on Pet Talk who knew her. :(
:( :( :( My hubs is gone too. He just started a new job 900 miles from here, plus, he just had a defibrillator "installed" this summer, because he is a candidate for sudden death syndrome due to heart failure. I told him about Corinna, I wish he was here to hug. He sends his condolences to Corinna's family.Quote:

Thank you for the update, Karen. What a wonderful lady she was and a true friend to all. I'm so glad she got to take those pictures with the family before this happened. I can't get her off my mind either. :( :( :(

How about any charities that she liked? We could donate to them, too.
Val, this is what I was thinking as well. There must be a local rescue group in her own town that would welcome a donation in her name - it would be a good way to honor her in her own home.
I hate to try to contact her husband. Karen may have a better idea of this right now.
I will contact Tim again tomorrow afternoon, and will ask about charities to which she'd have liked donations to go.
What sad times. I did not know her very well but what I did know of her I always liked. She was such a kind person. I am glad she was able to go peacefully and I am sure she is lookiing down upon all of us and smiling right now.
Karen, that would be a nice idea (the flowers and/or the donation) I would like to participate.

Oh my god. I have a loss for words. I feel so sorry for her family. She will be in my thoughts and prayers. :(
It just blows my mind how someone can be here, and then be gone to the Heavens so quickly. Corinna had just been on Pet Talk hours before - it's just such a shock. :( She was such a great person.
