I see the elephant!!! This is the first time I have checked late enough at night to see daytime there. Very cool!
This must be one of those frustrating times when people in one zone can see what others in another zone can't. I have a still view of the waterhole, that's all.
Same here. :p
The elephant is no longer there, so most likely, we're seeing the same thing. Just the waterhole.
Take a look at the Africam.com forums when you get a chance. People post screenshots of sightings. Very cool! The forums aren't working for me at the moment, so I don't have a link.
I visit the forums quite frequently - I seem to miss quite a lot on the camera! I've tried joining - but get no reply from administration to be activated. :(
There is a gorgeous giraffe there now....first it was its image inthe water, then the actaul giraffe. Awesome!!
They just zoomed in on his/her markings. Beautiful! It makes me giggle when it drinks. I always compare Nala to a giraffe how she drinks out of the pool.
Here comes another giraffe!
I just saw the second giraffe...too cool!! I need to go to bed, but I could watch this all night!
I was thinking the same, Amy, it's my bed tim but I am hooked. This is the first night I've actually stayed up "late" just to watch. :p
The giraffe walked away...guess that is my clue to head to bed, before something else cool shows up!
Awww I missed all the animals again...I give up! :p
Go in right now, there are wildebeest coming. And the giraffe is back. And it just pooped. Baby giraffe, feeding from its mom! That was wonderful. Mom, dad and baby giraffe in a group together. The baby kept trying to feed but mom kept moving and cutting him off. Then she bent down and muzzled him all along his neck. They disappears around the tree with wires for the cam and the baboons are here.
The giraffe are back and :( the mom giraffe is hurt. She has bloody cuts on the insides of both her back legs and her tail has blood on it. The cam keeps focusing on her wounds. I wonder if the reserve does anything about injured animals.
Scary thought. Won't the lions be attracted to the smell of blood? That would leave the male giraffe fighting for both their lives.
Oh I am so glad I missed that, I really would hate to see the wounds... Has anyone every seen any monkeys, I am so jelous of people who saw my favorite animal, the elephant.
