I have a toller and a cocker, and I love big scruffy breeds like otterhounds and komondors, but my favorite is the mutt. There isn't another dog in the world like your mutt, one of a kind in body and soul.

Where to start?
I will always have a soft spot for chihuahuas.
I also love and hope to someday have a lab.

Well, I have to say that I am a big fan and proponent of mutts! If I had to pick favourite breeds, though, I guess my favourites would be Newfoundlanders (I really like 'em all black) and Rottis.

But my all time fav mutt breed, the most gorgeous I have seen is this boarding dog we get in, he is a Golden/Boxer, GORGEOUS!!!! But all mutts tie for first with my doberman fav. seeing as I generally don't get purebreds, when they tend to have more problems, and those wonderful Heinz 57-mutts need homes. Well, whew, talking your ear off eh? LOL, later, glad to be able to list some favs! LOVE the czech. wolfdog, gorgeous pic, always have liked them, I think the Saarlos Wolfdog looks more like a Coyote than a wolf/dog, lol..
