Please pray for Lacey...

Some of you may have been following her thread about her knee surgery in Dog Health. We woke up this morning and her leg was swollen up, terribly! :( We just got back from the Emergency Vet. Lacey has an infection in her leg. It's swollen up to three times the normal size. :( They gave her an injection of a stronger antibiotic (she was already on some) and stronger pills to start tomorrow. She's also starting a diuretic(sp?) to help reduce the swelling. She has to see our vet tomorrow, they may have to open her leg up somewhere to drain. :(
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, all we want is our girl to be able to walk. She has been through so much already. :(

Oh no, poor Lacey:( She's been through so much already:( Sending lots of love and healing prayers your way, sweet baby girl. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in and do the trick and she can avoid having thie site drained:( Hoping for a positive update in the next day or two. I haven't gotten a chance to reply, and I really don't know how to reply, but I have been watching your thread and thinking of you all.

I'm so sorry. :( {{HUGS}} to you and the girls, Annette. I hope the swelling goes down and Lacey is allowed to romp around again. I know how happy you were to be able to let her off leash. :(
