Scooter asserts his independence...

Scooter, who has been quarantined in our bathroom, somehow slipped out of his E-collar. Now that his front paws were more effective, he immediately climbed to the top of a (very hard to climb) towel rack.

He's thriving since his operation. His demeanor, reflecting the new lack of constant discomfort, is great. He's getting to be positively feisty when we let him out to wander. And he appears to be a very affectionate little guy - nuzzling up to us and purring whenever held.

This is how we found him atop the towel rack (and before we replaced the E-collar).

Thats scary when the Cat that you want to be quiet,suddenly decides that he wants to be a daredevil.
Scrappy2 was racing around the Hotel,when she came back from being spayed and I was trying toget her to take it easy.
We hope that Scooter is calming down a bit,now.

Scooter you look more dignified between the foliage than with the collar, you looked like a kid at the Barber Shop. :D

Oh, that sweet little face! Looks like the indoor life suits him. :D

Goodness, he's a Samson look-alike! :eek:

Oh, and a COLE look-alike too! I can't get over it.

And there is a Cole twin named Candy - Jen Leukenbach, I think.

WELLLLLLLLL :D all depends on how he recovers. We do have someone else interested in the little guy, but we're waiting to see how well he totally recovers from this type of surgery. There is a chance he could be incontinent, and if this is the case, I'm sure we'll keep him. :)

Well, this goes to show that you can't keep a good cat down. Scooter is a little sweetheart, such an adorable face!!!

He sure is a handsome little guy and I'm glad that he's doing well. :) It sounds like he's going to have a wonderful forever home either with you or your friend. What a lucky kitty. :)
