how much food

a couple months ago when sam got his rabies vacc. the vet said i was feeding him too much. so she told me to feed him 3/4 c twice a day. i still am and was wondering if i should increase or decrease his amount of food now that he is older. i feed him iams, he is 14 pounds and is 5 months old. do you think 1 1/2 c a day is still ok?

It really depends on how he is doing with that amount of food.
Is he still overweight? Or does he look too skinny now?

well he is just right. i think he's at the perfect weight for his size.

Then I'd stick with it. If he starts to gain weight you'll want to back him down some.

And if he starts loosing more weight slowly start to add a little more in with his daily meals.
