I cried when I read your story Baby Sooki :( It made me angry that humans had so mistreated you :mad: However, all is right now :) You have two humans who love you and a baby sister! I am sure you won't need any more lives, as you will be kept safe, warm and happy - every cat's right! :) :) Congcats on being COTD.

You look so sweet snoozing there on your chair. Your "story" sounded so sad but with a happy ending. Your humans saved you and have taken such good care of you. You are so pretty and healthy now.....
I am delighted that they went to a shelter to get their kitty and found such a love-YOU!
You look so much like our kitty and she likes to talk too-especially if can cat food is out or her brush. I hope you have a long long life. Thanks for being the sunday cat of the day-you are VERY deserving.

I don't often respond to these things but this one was special! :) It does my heart so much good when I read about the sweet animal who was adopted who no one suspected WOULD be adopted.
I hope you know what a good thing you have done here and I am so glad things are working out. I have five young kittens who I rescued from my barn but they were so shy, none of the traditional adoption organizations would give me hope that they were adoptable. :(
So.....I have five cats I didn't plan on and can't afford but I will give them my best....and adjust my budget accordingly.
We all must do all we can (and more) to help these little creatures. Thanks to you, one more has been given a life. :D

When I saw your picture, I smiled at how tranquil you looked taking a catnap. I read your story and then I cried at how you had been abused. :( May God bless the wonderful family who adopted you...and especially your Mom for taking the time to talk to you. I bet you told her your story and she told you that the horrible things of the past would be erased by love and kindness. :) You are absolutely beautiful and I wish you many years of fun with your family and your baby sister. My husband was reading your story over my shoulder, and I could hear him sniffing!! What a story!!! Angels were definitely keeping watch over you!! Those who mistreated you have a Higher Authority to answer to for what they did to you. But that is NOT where you were meant to. All that had to happen, so you would live in a wonderful FOREVER home, where you have people that love and nursed you back to health and beauty! I think it is such a good thing that you are the BEST big sister and teach the little one all the right things. Baby Sookie looks like an adorable cat. It is hard to believe that the little kitty in the picture went thru so much abuse. It was kind that someone thought enough of a poor helpless animal to put it in a box and drop it off where it could be found and hopefully rescued. At least I think someone was trying to help. Your owners have taken good care of you Sooki, and you let it show--have a happy rest of your life little kitty-Meow, Meow, Meow!!! ;) :) :cool:

My KatMa truly abhors so-called humans who do such terrible things to animals. She wishes them a million times the pain they have caused innocent darlings like you. Our dear late Sasha also had her teeth broken by some evil human!
