Little Orange Guy update
I found the little orange kitty outside my door again today, when I let Don Juan out for a walk. I stopped Don Juan from beating him up, then got the orange guy some kibble. He was ravenous!
sorry don juan is on my shoulder now
little orange guy was wet and cold. he has incredible honey-colored eyes.
And then he turned around. He certainly looks :o um, :o  ahem, masculine. Also was close enough to notice that he has a nice collar with a safety catch and an ID tag, suggesting a caring owner somewhere.
I heard the neighbors next door calling "kitty, kitty" and said "Is this your cat?" Little orange guy lives next door! I said that he should stay inside. They said that he a) doesn't get along with the dog and b) has picked up some bad outdoor habits i.e. spraying. I suggested that having him neutered might cut out the spraying.
Then, they asked where they could take him for his "re-education". I told them where to find the local Humane Society. And, by then, Little Orange Guy had leaped over the fence to return home.
Here's hoping a little education does the trick.

I'm glad that you found out where he lives. Hopefully they'll be able to get him neutered soon.

Good luck to the little orange guy. Hopefully his family will do right by him.

Smokey came to me that way,as his Family got a Husky and dint train him to leave the Cat alone.
Smokey couldnt live in the house and eventually settled at the Hotel.
I too hope these people brighten up,and give thier Cat the chance he needs to live a Full Life.
If not we pray that you will be Back Up for that Orangie.

Don't count on it. Ignorance isn't cured that easily.

Sounds like you have done all you can at this point. I hope the owners will now follow up! ;)

Glad this boy has a home,Hope the owners will do the right thing.Wishing the kitty all the best. Please keep us posted if you learn anything else about this situation.

Good job ~ You have to keep trying to educate people. If no one has ever told them before, how would they know? You might take it a step further and call the Humane Society yourself and ask them if they have any low-cost spay/neuter vouchers that you could give to your neighbor. They'll mail it to you and then you can take it over with a little kitty care package of good food and toys. Anything you can do to help Little Orange Guy is worth it. If he's not neutered and vaccinated, he'll just end up roaming the neighborhood making babies and spreading any disease he might get.

I am just so slow to get things that I have never understood how anyone can have a male, not have them fixed, then complaine about them spraying???

Another update:
Saw Little Orange Guy and his pet parents again today. I learned that a) his name is Noodles :) and b) he has an appointment to be "re-educated" on Wednesday.
here's hoping. (sorry, don juan is on my shoulder again.) noodles really is a sweet little guy. :)

I don't have a digital camera, only a vintage SLR that I inherited from my grandfather. But, if I can get a good shot of him, I'll post it.
