Calling all Southwesterners.....2 Katrina pits need transport TX to CA

know this is a long shot but we are desperate to find a transport from San Antonio, TX to Los Angeles, CA next week!(week of Jan. 23rd)
I know alot of you are in the North, East and South, but I am hoping you can forward and eventually it will get to someone who can help us. Here is the story:

We have 2 Katrina pits here at our shelter that have been accepted into a training facility in Los Angeles. It is going to cost us $1000 per dog to send them there. If we fly them it will be another $500 or more. We have enough raised to send one so we are going to go ahead and send the male, Hoghead. Flying him this week will be $500. Our shelter director is going to San Antonio on Sunday and can transport him that far. It would really save us money if we can find ground transport to LA from there. The problem is that we have no transport contacts in the west. Most everything we do is in the east, north and south. We will need the transport to be next week if possible as my friend will be in base housing and will have to board Hoghead until he can transported. It will still save us a ton and we will have more to put towards Piglets transport. She will have to stay at the shelter until we can transport so we need to save as much money as we can.

He is a wonderful rider. We can furnish a crate or he does great in the seat. He is dog aggressive to selective dogs and is cat aggressive. No human aggression at all.

If you can forward to all your contacts hopefully we can find a transport for Hoggy!
