Plz pray for my duck, sunny

Sunny is throwing up and is foaming at the eyes. I have no idea what to do and I am freaking out! plz plz pray for him.

oh no! :( he will be in my prayers..(((hugs))) Please keep us updated. Are there any vets that could come see him..(exotic) or something?

well our emergency vet won't do the exotics, and our vet won't be open till tuesday!

Any updates?? Couldn't you call your vet, since they might not be open today?? Do you have your vets home phone number?

I will try my vets home phone number. We brought sunny in inside because it was raining. His eyes arn't foaming and he hasn't thrown up yet. I will call my vet and update with you all

do you mean he has discharge coming from his eyes? are his eyes white?

you can buy antibiotic feed for poultry at feed stores, and fleet farm. there is also antibiotics for their water, which i suggest doing that first.

I would keep Sunny seperate from your other ducks, as he may have an eye infection which is very contagous. (sp?) as for the throwing up, i am not sure about that. make sure he's drinking lots of water.

Sunny is doing tons better!! those pt prayer really do work good! I talked to the vet and all he really siad was to put him inside and baby him and see if he is doing better the next day if he is still throwin up and foaming at the eyes then do bring him in the next day. I am not please with the vet at all. :mad:

Glad he's ok!! I will still pray for him, so he won't get sick again. What kind of duck is Sunny? From your aviater he almost looks like a muscovy.

Vet's really don't do all they can all the time, do they? It's almost like sometimes they don't even care. I mean, some vets do do all they can and they do care, but some really don't.

I'm so glad to hear Sunny is better. Keep us posted.
