Heartstopping moment

Katie and I were getting in the car to go to school this morning and hubby thought he'd wave us off (aaah) but forgot to pull the front door closed behind him. Next thing we know young Tobey is out :eek:

Amazingly he trotted into a couple of front gardens, had a sniff, then came halfway back when I crouched down and called him. I told him to sit and stay and repeated these commands and he OBEYED! :D Never before has a dog had so much praise! :D

Oh my! :eek: Thank goodness Tobey responded to your command! I've had a few of those with Lacey, she too listened and came to me! Training a dog to come when called is the best command there is! ;) Good boy Tobey! :D

Fenway did that to me once - jumped out of the car when I accidentally left the door open. Thank God he came to me when I called (which is very unusual). I'm so glad Tobey came when called.
