9 pounds 14 ounces! :-o

Hello everyone!

I'm sorry that I haven't been on line lately, but things didn't go as planned.

As you may or may not know, I was scheduled for an induction Jan. 2 because my cervix hadn't moved forward let alone dialate. Well, we went to the hospital, had them give me the medication for my cervix and waited, and waited and waited. Nothing. They did an ultrasound to see how big the baby was, and was told that the baby was over 8 lbs. After 10 hours, I asked for a c-section. My doctor agreed. At 8:00 pm, they took me to the operating room, at 9:02 pm, I had a baby boy who weighed 9 lbs. 14 ounces. The Chicago Bears are already scouting him. j/k

We had to spend 5 days in the hospital, but we're both doing well.
