Poor "stray" kitty
I first posted about this cat here:

Well since a lot earlier this year, she's pretty much been abandoned. She now lives outside and spends a lot of her time at our house. She's such a sweet cat. I hate those idiot people. They only live like one or two streets over from us. I remember talking to the woman and she didn't sound concerned at all that kitty was loose. Oh, that's her name, too, Kitty. So, we've been feeding her twice a day. At night, she gets canned food with her dry. Here she is.

She's such a beauty. She's kind of getting a little feral. She'll only let you pet her on the head. I want to try and brush her because her long hair is getting matted but she won't let you touch her. I'm very careful not to have contact with Doogie after petting her until I wash my hands really well. Anyway, it's been getting cold so I got one of Doogie's old blankets and put it in a box on the stoop for her. It sat there for about a week and I didn't think she was going to use it. One night I opened the door and saw this

I feel so badly for her. Wish I could take her, too.

Sounds like she really needs a home.If she loves other cats....I'd rather see her here than outside. Not that I NEED another cat.I hate seeing cats outside to fend for themselves.Thank You for being so kind in taking good care of her till you can find a home for her.Pettalk people are the best!!Are you in a State where there isn't much cold? Can you take her in to your home?I'm sure in time they would all get along. It takes a few months sometimes for the original pets to get use to another pet in their castle :) I hope she gets a home...she's so very pretty and looks lonely.
My "Birdie" is a little ferral.Doesn't like to be patted or aproached but he LOVES other cats so he's great here.Sounds like "Kitty" just needs to be tested "Lukemia an FIV"and if negitive she can get right into a home :D Good Luck.I love her looks.

Poor kitty! How can anyone abandone her like that. :( I'm so glad you noticed her and put a box with a blanket out. Do you have any idea how old she is?
The best would of course be if she could find a home with catlovers, who know how to care properly for a cat.
We've had feral cats living in our back yard, there's still one left (Pjevs). We are 2 families left to feed him, and we built a wooden house (insulated with polystyrene) for him behind the dustbin shed. I change his "bedlinen" every so often. :)
To begin with, he had a house we built from two boxes - you know the polystyrene ones they deliver vegetables in. We taped two together, cut a hole in one end, so he could get in and out, and covered the box with thick plastic. Fister's mom had a similar one.
Best of luck! :)

There are Idiots just up the street let let thier Cats have Kittens and then after they get Big,they never get back into the House again.
These people want Pets, but like too many people, not the resposibility that goes with them.
Tubby2,and Ragnar are safe now,and I am sad as there may be a new crop of Porchies next year looking for food and attention.

She's so gorgeous. I'm sorry to hear that she's been abandoned:( but I'm glad that you're able to feed her and give her nice warm bed. :)
