He's gorgeous! I always wanted to name a betta belagio for some reason, I just like the way it sounds. I went there when I was in 5th grade but we were staying in circus circus!

I voted Merlin, as that was my friend's betta's name, and he was one smart fishy! If you shook his food bottle he'd tell you if he was hungry or not by dancing/swimming. If he did nothing, he wasn't hungry. If he swam around, he was hungry. 'Twas cool! :D

yup it is a boy. Only Plakats (wild types) and girls have short fins.
(Ireally researched a lot because I thought I was going to get one/some but my parents have forbidden any more live animals from entering the house perminantly :( they apperently think it is growing to too much like a zoo. (However if horses cost more like dogs they would be happy to have one or two because they live at a barn.
