new doxie
I just got a new doxie, he was sort of a rescue, someone in my vets office found him along side of the road. I already have the 3 boyz, I was wondering your thoughts of integrating them. Right now I have him in a crate, it seems to be going well that way. He also is intact and wants to mark, any ideas about this,as soon as I know for sure he is mine I will get him fixed. He is about 7 years old, my boyz are also the same age, he is so very thin. What are your thoughts, thank you so much for any help. Joann and the 4 boyz Bailey,Beaner,Patches and the newbie Bitsy.

let them sniff him through the crate if they seem ok then introduse him to your dogs one at a time

Thank you, that seems to be going well. Joann

First up has he been vaccinated and checked by the vets, if not then it would be wise to keep him seperated from your dogs. If he has the crate idea is great, it gives a barrier so no one gets hurt.
