Max's deathday, dec 13th
Tomorrow is Max's deathday, dec 24th 1993-dec 13th 2003 :(
My poor baby was wrongfully taken from me. The vets were sure He'd be with me another 5-10 years due to his good health (his bowls were messed up, but nothing deadly or painful)...
It took me until the summer 2005 to start to deal with his death, as burring him was a bloody nightmare from hell. I felt haunted by his death all the time & from time to time I still do. The nightmares are 100% gone, I hardly ever cry anymore.
The biggest thing that hurts me right now is that I'm 500km away from his grave site :( I haven't gone near his grave since I burried him, but I stood in the driveway & in the horse field & looked at his grave tree from a distance. James checks the site every spring to make sure he hasn't come up or a wolf hasn't dug him up.
I'm glad so many strangers helped me that day & several from PT aswell & still do.
I am making an online game & Max is the theme :) SO I'm much better.
Here are a few reminder photos of my big baby

I'm so sorry for your loss of dear Max. What a handsome, dignified boy he was. The photos make me cry.
You will see him again. Hugs.

Max was a handsome dog. Thanks for sharing some of your pictures
of your heart dog. May Max Rest In Peace. :(

Thanks for sharing. He was very loved, and he was a lucky dog for that.
Rest easy, Max.

Those are wonderful pictures of Max. He looks well-loved. Its so hard to loose our furbuddies, they give us so much love. (just lost my cat of 17 years a few days ago :( ) Max is probably looking down on you right now from the rainbow bridge and waging his tail! Thanks for sharing about him, he must have been one special boy.

Oh Jess. I'm crying for you and Max. I remember him and he was always one my favorites.
I hope you're having a great time at the Bridge, Max. We miss you. :(

I'm sitting here with tears pouring down my face:( Your Max was one beautiful, beautiful, boy and so very loved. I remember him so well; he was a favorite here on Pet Talk and we all miss him. Oh, the pictures are heartbreaking...him in his shirt, little booties, with his reindeer ears, with Santa:( He was so very lucky to have had a Mom like you, to have known such love and devotion. I hope you get to visit your beloved Max very soon. I'll be lighting a candle this Christmas for your precious boy Max, my Jing and Cody, Murphy, Killian, Shiloh and for all of our RB pups. They are all together, and for me, that is some comfort. God bless you, dear Max.
Love, Sandra

If your not able to print that picture out, pm me your address and I can print it up and send it to you... no problem. Just let me know.
