Hostess VS Little Debbie
I thought this would be an interesting poll. Which do you like better? I've got nothing in my dorm room for breakfast but some Hostess HoHo's (Swiss cake rolls in Little Debbie speak) and I'm trying to eat them as best I can. Hostess is all the school sells. They are dry and I can hear the sugar crunching as I chew, not mixed very well. You have no idea what I'd give to have the school switch to Little Debbie. Not to mention Little Debbie is 1/3 the price.

LOL I prefer little debbie too

I must admit, I am very amused by this poll. I never heard of Little Debbie until I was in my 20's, when I did try the "off-brand" (I didn't know any better), I found them to be too sweet and otherwise tasteless. However, as you mentioned, the price is right (they are cheap). As any good Philly girl would do, I am afraid I would have to give my allegiance to The Tasty Baking Company (Tastykakes are the best! :D).

Yes, there is a thing called too sweet, like when you can hear the little sugar crystals crunching, which often accompanies tastelessness. If I ever visit your area I'll have to remember to try the tastykakes.

Blech! I do not like snack cakes or the like. :p

I'm with Mfamr. I'm not crazy on those kinds of things. But give me a homemade cookie or cake, and I'm all over it!!!
-
Not crazy about either, so I chose neither. Every now and then, though, I'll spring for Little Debbie's granola bar, or a ridiculously fattening bear claw from Hostess. If I am going to go for that much fat and sugar, I'm gonna do it right and get a candy bar.

I have never had hostess swiss cake rolls, and I have never heard of little debbie lol I liked the swiss cak rolls that I have had but they were neither of these brands..
-
ha ha ha!!! hostess!!! even though i really don't need to eat them!!! :p

I voted for Little Debbies. I don't eat them much anymore since I started eating healthy and lost 35 pounds this year. I figured they must have went out of business since I stopped buying them. :D

I like them both the same, hehe. I've never had preference for one or the other :)
