Here's the patient
Well, its been a few days since Flutter's surgery, and quite honestly, you'd never know she experienced major surgery. She's acting completely normal, doing things on her own and such. Two striking differences: she's been LOUDLY vocal opposed to her sweet little squeaks, and she's been super cuddly :D
I took a nap this afternoon (purrfect cold snowy day for a nap!) and when I woke up, this is what was snuggled under my arm and what my chin was resting on

can you follow the path where my arm was? ;)
What meowmie? why'd ya get up?

So now that I was awake and no longer cuddling, she went to Unca Allen who was sleeping on the foot of the bed

I just ADORE my little Flutter Butter and my hearts explodes with joy to see her this happy and content so soon after the surgery. I DO wonder how much of her progress is made possible by the pain patch, but I can;t stop to worry about that now! :p
And I am so glad I got this up before Auntie Laura left for a month, I know she too was incredibly worried about my little Flutter Butter Girl.

You got that right Kim... I was worried silly over that little beautiful Butterfly Flutter. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww! I can't tell you what joy it brings to my heart to see her looking so darn NORMAL and SWEET!! She wuves her Unka Allen as it shows in those pictures of her cuddeling with him... MELTS my heart into a big puddle of squishey mush.. Kim, she looks so good for the major trama YOU have been through. Don't they just amaze you at how they bounce right back like they are saying "What? You were worried? About WHAT?"..
Kim, thank you SO much for posting these so I could see them and you can bet when I get back, the first threads I will be looking for are posts on her! By then, this won't even be a memory for her and she will be a normal, typical, playful little girl that does not see herself as handicapped in any way!

Sweet little girl! What a wonderful ending to the months of agony and indecision for this lovely cat. What a little trouper!
You have to be SO relieved and happy after all your fears for this little girl. I'm so happy to hear she is back to her sweet, loving little self. And, vocal is GOOD!
Give her some gentle scritches for me!

Flutters recovery has to be the Pet Talk Feel Good Story of the Year, and we are so pleased that her recovery is going so very well.
And all the trials and Tribulations will be well worth it,as she matures into the Big Beautiful Cat that the Lord intended for her to be!!

I'm sure that patch is responsible for her feeling so fine - but don't worry about what will happen when it is removed. That's on Tuesday, I think you said. By then, the worst of any post-op pain will be gone. She may feel a few twinges, but nothing like what it would have been immediately post surgery.

She is such a beauty... so glad to hear she's doing so well.

Im so glad flutter is adjusting so well. She looks so cozy, wish I was cuddled up next to her ;)

Ok, ok....I guess I'll stop with all the little remarks about you failing Fostering 101. I wouldn't be able to give up a face like that either. :D She is just adorable beyond words and I'm so glad she's doing so well after her surgery. :D

Oh Flutter, I am glad to hear you are doing well! You are so cute on these pics! :)

Here's the patient
Hi there Flutter!!! Meowmie and I are so happy to see you up and about after your operation. Do you think these hoomins will ever learn that you can't keep a good kitty down? Well, just take it easy and don't try to do too much too soon. Kitty prayers are still going out for you.
Your friend,
Groucho
