ok well yesterday my hedgie, spike, never woke up. my dad thought because its so cold, he was hibernating or something. well today he woke up extra early, like 5 pm and is running around his cage and using his wheel more than normal. he's acting like a nut. is this normal?

All three of my hedgies: Spike, Pepper, and Splinter have done it. (Splinter still does!) I believe they take very long sleeps, then wake up. I think also that in MN< because it is so cold, it causes them to go into a little hibernation mode. I am not quite sure though. So far, nothing has gone wrong with them doing that with me!
