No one ever thinks that anything like heartworms will get insidetheir dog. This is Travelers third shot for Heartworms. He has been in a lot of pain.

Im very sorry about that and hope he gets well soon :( , that is something to always ck with your vet about before it can happen..why in pain..The shots??
Aw, poor boy. Hope you aren't letting him exercise. If his heart rate gets up it could be deadly. ANY dog can get heartworms! Put him on a monthly heartworm medication for the rest of his life. It's much cheaper and safer than paying for heartworm treatment.
