Fenway Got Hurt

I picked Fenway up from doggy day care today and when he was on the bed, I went to rub his head and he yelped. I looked and he had a gash in his ear. It was long and thin but I think it's kind of deep. I have some ointment for animals that you use for cuts & scraps so I put that on him. He was a good boy and just laid there. I called the vet but they weren't open and they no longer are open on Saturdays. I'm going to keep an eye on it and make sure he doesn't scratch it and open it up anymore than it already is. If it gets worse or doesn't look like it's healing, I'll bring him to the emergency room.
I have to call his doggy day care and let them know. Whoever he was playing with today, was playing too rough.

Poor Fenway, hope he gets feeling better soon! Nebo got a scratch on his ear the last time he went to the dog park (in Findlay) and it healed up very fast.
