My Aunt's dog hates fireworks and turns into a nervous wreck this time of year but thanks to some advice I was given on PT I recommended she gave him scullcap and valerian.
Harley would like to say a big woofy thank you as he has had the most relaxed firework season ever!
Yay glad to hear that it worked! I've never heard of those remedies, but then again I've never really had a problem with fireworks and any of my pets. Are they medications?
What did you give to the dog? I'm always looking for something that works to calm dogs down. I used to give Buddy 2 Ace but it started breathing problems. The vet then gave me Valium for him.. but even giving him 2 does nothing!!!
