opening a shelter?!?!

my dad and i were driving around last night and saw a group of stray dogs. we got to talking about how it was such a problem in our town, but no one ever does anything about it. they just don't care. i've talked about the cruel things that people do to animals here on past topics.

anyways, my grandpaw is on the town board and pretty much runs it. he said he's got multiple kennels and property for a shelter but no one has the time or money to open one. we figgerd that with the town's help my parents and i could open a shelter here! my grandpa is going to mention it on the next town meeting.


does anyone have any advice?

:D I dont have any ideas for you, but want to say GOODLUCK on a wonderful thing to do..sounds like a big job to.. :D Will there be people that will volenteer to help? I hope so..
