Yep, the nutter probably wanted the baby. She did tell folks she was pregnant when she wasn't/isn't.

This isn't as uncommon as is thought.

I for one can't even fathom why someone would want a baby that badly...

Ugh .. I watched something like this on tv, this lady lied about being pregnant to a whole group of friend and the lie got too much and she got too involved and ended up attacking a pregnant woman. They are too sick for words

What really blows my mind is that woman who tried to take the baby already has 3 of her own! Why does she need/want another?

I can be a bit more understanding of a woman who can't have any of her own. I mean society puts a lot of pressure on women to have kids, but this woman already had 3 of her own.....

I freaked out reading this article because I used to live in that town!!! :eek: I have relatives that live there! That is soo freaky! The "separated" husband of the woman still insisted his wife was "pregnant" and didn't believe the "tale"! :rolleyes: Maybe there was a reason behind them being "seperated"? That way he couldn't catch on to what was happening. Can't risk losing a pillow from the belly in the middle of the night and claim "I lost the baby...". :mad:

PITTSBURGH -- It turns out that a Pennsylvania woman who was attacked in an alleged attempt to steal her fetus had already planned to give the baby up for adoption.

The newborn is now with his adoptive parents.

Valerie Oskin, 30, was attacked -- allegedly by her neighbor, Peggy Jo Conner, 38 -- on Oct. 12. The boy was delivered by emergency Caesarean section following the attack.

An attorney for the adopting couple said they filed their notice of adoption in court Tuesday, and the baby will live with the prospective new parents during the legal process that's expected to take months.

Could there be a stranger twist to that story?

I think the child is lucky to be rid of all those people.
