I know that this is a long time coming, but I've been pretty busy getting all settled in. Here are a couple from about 1am. I had just gotten up from my spot next to both of them :)

I just think the Boomer reunion thing has to be right up there on the charts when voting for the thread of the year. I think the entire event was wonderful to watch unfold. Since the circumstances were not "injury related", it made it easy to see the positive side come to a conclusion. Also, knowing, somewhat, the folks involved, we all knew it would have a great ending. Even if Boomer had been rehomed, we would have been happy about that, knowing he would have had a good home.
Just seeing all the kiddies, kitties, and hoomans together is SOOOO comforting.

In the first pic they both look rather sleepy, but in the second pic it looks like they're both meowmy has gotten up.
I'm just so glad it all worked out with Boomer. I think he and Tyler have a bond that will last a long long long time. :D

I vote for thread of the year too! What a great story. Boomer is such a sweetheart and so loyal. He's a great companion for Tyler.
I am so glad to see you are back with your furkid again and now he understands why he was sent away and is at peace with his life now. I am sorry I had to miss the reunion and your trip but I did lurk a bit to keep tabs on all of you. It is so wonderful to see him keeping watch over his skin kid again.
