Hey, I just moved and I want to grow some grass for Star and Lizzy for them to eat. What type of seeds should I get? Keep in mind I live on the second floor of an apartment but I do have a balcony
Thanks

Seeds without pesticides can be purchased in many pet stores..Walmart even sells it in the pet aisle. I think it's rye grass...never use seed for lawns! I made the mistake once of planting some in a long planter figuring there would be more grass for the cats to chomp on. It was turned into a bed, some of the foster monsters dug into the dirt and I'd come home to a mess! So best in a heavy small planter that retains water well. ;)
I ALWAYS GET,THE PRE PACKAGED SEED KITS,BUT I CANT,FOR THE LIFE,OF ME,THINK,OF ME,THINK,OF THE NAMES!!

Wheatgrass is good. If you have a Petsmart near you they sell "catgrass", which I think it wheatgrass with a cats picture on the container :)

Josie LOVES sweeeeeet grass!!!
I buy the organic wheat grass at my local Safeway - much cheaper than the "cat grass" Petco sells and it's the exact same thing!
always get your grass from a dealer you can trust..
