Sierra has Coccidia

She threw up in her crate the other day, it was pinkish clear fluid and had specks of blood. Then had watery bloody diarrhea last night, (sorry for the details) so we went to the ER. $268.00 later.... I have one sick sad little girl at home. Her big brother is doing his best to keep her spirits up!! Please keep her in your thoughts!
I took a stool sample to the vet today to have Buddy checked. it's going to be hard to get rid of, I'll be picking up poo everytime as soon at they do it, then I have to spray the grass with bleach.
I don't know for sure how she got it, but it can be spread by files or small animals. I think maybe the poor bunny that she "got" 2 week ago may gave given it to her. :(

Omg, poor Sierra!:( She will be in my thoughts you will too. Please keep us posted on how she does. I feel so bad for her.:(

I'm sorry to hear about Siearra. I hope she is feeling better real soon. Katie had coccidia when she was a pup so I know what its like. Give your sweet girl a hug from me.

Casey had that when I got her from the pound, she got a bit sick from the medicine, she wasn't showing symptoms before the med, 5 days of the 10 day meds knocked it out (she got too sick to continue the meds)

Poor Baby, I hope she can get well very soon!!!!:( This will be in our prayers every day until she is well!!!!

Oh no. Not Sierra. It seems like alot of PT animals are gettin sick or injured. Poor Seirra. We will pray for you and we are pullin for you to make a quick recovery!
