my grampa died

My grampa died yesterday. I was only told last night from a relative. I am sad because he died and upset because I wasn't told sooner. He had cancer.... We knew it was coming but didn't expect it to be so soon.

Carmen, that is doubly sad. I didn't find out about my great grandma until about a month after she passed (this happened when I was a child, but, it still hurt). I'm sorry to hear that he lost his fight and that you weren't told sooner.

I feel so sorry for you Carmen!! Sometimes adults don't tell their kid everything, just because they don't want them to be sad. But, it is wrong. We always tell our kids everything. It is hard for them sometimes, but it is always easier to cope with things then.. .
Don't be mad at your family, they did what they thought that was best for you :)
