Happy 5th Birthday, Sweet Jonah!!

I've officially had him for a year!! Its been rough for my sweet boy. I got him when I worked at the vet clinic...he was brought in for euthanasia becuase "he ruined their furnature". I couldn't allow a gorgeous, 4 year old cat to be euthanized, even if David didn't want any more cats there. (It made 9 in our apartment!)

My very good friend, CiCi told me to bring him to her and he lived in her guest room for a few days. Poor baby refused to eat unless I was there. :( David realized he was MUCH better off with me, so we took him home and he lived in our walk-in closet until we saw he got along wonderfully with our cats. (The former owners said he should be an "only cat"...)

Now he's a perfect little guy. THE PERFECT CAT. Is snuggly, sweet as pie, polite, uses his litter box, the cat tree, etc. I always describe him as perfect, because he IS! :)

But on to better things: Happy Birthday, Jonah! Your purrents are the real deal: made in the mold of the kind of people who love animals and we need many more like them in this world! You are lucky your Meowmommie brought you to your furever home -- and your humans are soooo lucky to have you.

We have a very big soft spot in our hearts for rescued pussycats [and all other rescued pets].
