My Perky Peppers!!

here are the pictures of before & after peppers and I wanted to thank you all who concerned about my peppy.

this was a post I posted somewhere else - that was her news..

(august 17th, 2005) -- it's not five, SIX cats. I took a stomatitis cat, peppers along with five others. yesterday, the coast vet office (my old long-time one, about an hour away) changed their mind and called me that they could take in peppers, she has a really bad gingivo, LPGS (lymphocytic-plasmaytic gingivitis stomatitis). so I cancelled the local vet because I preferred the coast one.

we discussed about laser therapy/extraction. we tried clindamyin (general anti-rode) last year in one plan, 5x/monthly twice, but gingivo just keeps coming back. this past january, we gave her methylprednisoline (sp?) injections, (like depomedrol drops) one each four weeks. it didn't helped either! then.....we would want to try a stronger prescription, bovine lacofferin but I did a research and it only succeed from the percentage of 20-25% and it's the expensiver treatment the cat gets. it's mostly is for the cats who has bartonella but peppy's test came out negative on that.

and, when I got back froom two weeks camping, my gosh.. her mouth is much, much worse! it made me cry. and SO frustrating.

today, I'm so glad, it's the day today...I requested if they could have her evil teeth removal asap, they said they can do it today! so she'd get out of pain sooner!!!! I just can't wait..

and...here is a big good news!! I can't believe how FAST she is feeling better!! I'm SO thrilled!!! :D :D it only has been like only four days after her oral surgery and she ran, chase around crazy! and bathing herself a lot lately. :D what melts my heart more...she bathed the others!!! I've never seen her doing that since the day one I got her. (august 2004). yipeee!! she is just like a new cat!

those two, she just got back home from the surgery with other fives. :( :( she slept all night with her tongue hanging out!

and now...my perky sweetie!! :D :D now she would do anything and loves to lean her muzzle on me anywhere especially. aww.

WE ARE SO PLEASED,THAT PEPPERS,IS BACK HOME,AND WELL,ON THE ROAD,TO RECOVERY.
THATS ALWAYS GOOD,WHEN YOU CAT,THAT WAS FEELING POORLY,IS NOW ,IN TIP TOP SHAPE,AND ALL WELL!!

I'm so glad to hear that Pepper is feeling better.

Boy what a difference in the pictures. Going from one pitiful looking cat to one absolutely black beauty.

oh yeah, she had seven teeth gone! her holes are closing up. yay. a goodness to stick around with!

she started her kibbles a few days ago and she's doing better & better ever! I'm so proud of her - I'm sooooooooo happy.
