The dilemmas of TRYING to read a newspaper.

I'm sure you can all relate to this. Whenever I sit to read my newspaper, I have either one, two or 3 cats that say otherwise.
The pictures say all.

This was taken the other day.

The next 3 pics were taken yesterday.
My hubby decided to get my camera to take pictures as I also had Willy wrapped around my shoulders, while the siamese twins were in my arms. But when the hubby was getting ready to take the picture, Willy got down to see what he was doing.

LOL! How cute! Mine have to help me "read" too. I don't think I've read a book by myself for years.

LOL you should have put a warning on that....there is way too much kitty cuteness there for normal viewers!!

The trick is to appear to be reading another page. When your cat(s) lie down on the paper, then you are free to read the page or section they aren't on - that you intended to read in the first place. Besides, they are still with you and that's all they wanted in the first place.

Obviously your furkids like to keep up with current events. Groucho thinks the newspaper doubles as a very comfortable bed. As soon as I take the first section and put the rest down, Groucho curls up and is sound asleep in seconds. And I just can't bring myself to wake him up to see the next section.....

:D It could be easier to get the news on television instead. That is so adorable, all those cats snuggling on your newspaper. I only ever have Samantha snuggling on the paper.

It's just that your kitties are looking out for your emotional well-being. They know that the newspaper contains stories that might upset you.
