Bruges, the Venice of the North

My most favorite city in the whole world is Bruges. It's atmosphere always overwhelms me completely. It is only a 45 minutes drive from here, so we go regularly.
As today is our wedding anniversary ( http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthre...threadid=86431) , and yesterday was very sunny, we decided to go walking in Bruges. Indra was home too, so she joined us :)

Your pictures are lovely, Lut. What a beautiful place. On the 2 or three occasions I have been in Brussels, I have never had enough time to go to Bruges. People always say it is beautiful for a visit.

those awesome photos! geez, you and your family must be the happiest one.. I've never seen any couples that would take kids with them on their anniversary.. :eek: how nice!

I got happy to see swam! haven't seen one around here for a long, long time. but if I do, not that close!! many tame swans there, huh? then bruges's on my travel list!! ;)
