Ice Cubes
Hi Y'all
Dumb question, but I'm curious.......
My Aussie Shep LOVES ice cubes. So does my mom's German Shep. It's so hot here, too. Sometimes it get upwards of 110 degrees. So we let them have the ice to make sure they get enough water.
But will ice hurt them? Like give them a bad headache? Or over-hydrate them??
Ok, that's it!!! I'm going to Vet school so I can know the answers toall these questions............

My Tobey loves them too.....we sometimes give them to him in place of treats

I don't think there would be a problem with giving ice cubes. It's only water and if your dog likes them then there shouldn't be a problem. Watch out for water all over the floor though if they make a mess.

I had a friend a long time ago that gave their Rottie ice cubes all the time. They called it her candy and she loved it like a treat.

there is a possibility ice cubes can break teeth. misty loves them too, but I switched to to making "frosty paws" to give them in the heat.
The love them and they're good for them, all healthy ingredients.
