Update on dukedog's Mom

Just wanted everyone on PT to know that Val's surgery is
behind her and she is now at home! Duke is glad she is back because he didn't want to even eat while she was in the
hospital!

Valerie is doing well, but she is really sore and it will be a few days more before she can sit at her computer to talk with all of you herself. I've told her the first week is the hardest and she will feel better after all the staples are out!

Duke and Doogie are keeping her company in her room, but so not understand why she is not playing with them! I'm really glad she is home so that Duke will take his pills without my having to poke them down him!

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers and encouragements for her!

And that you for the update, Grandma! :) Let Valerie know that we are all thinking of her. I'm glad she has Duke and Doogie to "nurse" her. You too! :)

I am soooo glad to know Val is on the mend. I can't thank you enough for the update. And boy Val has herself some great nurses there. Who could ask for better nurses that that cutie fluffy butt Doogie and the adorable baby Duke?

We are all thinking about you Val. Get well girl. We miss you.

Hi Dukie's Nana! Please tell Val I apologize for not returning her call the other day- I got home too late, and today was.. well, don't ask. Please tell her I'll buzz her tomorrow (Friday) and that I've been thinking of her every day. Once the staples are out, she'll feel better. Those things are just plain nasty. Right now she should rest and cuddle with her sweet babies. I keep wishing I lived closer! Please hug my buddy for me!
